WATCH: More places to enjoy a drink…with your dog

As the weather starts to get warmer, many will be looking for a place to bring their four-legged companion for some socializing in the sun.

Sarah from 104.7 The Lizard, and her dog Shrek, are once again on the lookout for the best patios in Kelowna they can enjoy together.

Last time, they visited Unleashed Brewing Co. and Kettle River Brewing Co. This week, they stopped at Beer Institute and Shoreline Brewing Co.

Beer Institute offers lots of water for the dogs and craft beers for the owners, but both can enjoy extensive shade under the covered patio.

Shoreline Brewing is also very welcoming to dogs, offering water and shade and a no limit policy.

General manager Steve Brisson, told Sarah they’ve been dog-friendly since day one.

“There’s no limit to the dogs we can have in. The dogs are happy, the owners are happy, they’re drinking and having fun as well,” he said. “The dogs are sometimes barking in a friendly way, but I think it adds to the atmosphere we've got going on.”

He added their patio is prepared for all weather situations.

“With the covering, we’ve added heat, fans, lights, the louvers are automatic so as soon as any moisture hits, they close for us,” he said.
