Summer is around the corner, which means patio season is upon us.

But what about your best friend? No, not that one. Your real best friend.

That’s right. You don’t need your dog pulling out the puppy eyes as you leave them at home to bathe in the sun and take in some Okanagan brews.

They need to be with you along the way.

Well fret no longer.

Sarah from 104.7 The Lizard, and her faithful companion, Shrek, have hit the streets to find the best dog-friendly patios in Kelowna and what they can offer you and your furry friend.

This week, the pair found themselves at Unleashed Brewing Co. and Kettle River Brewing Co.

Unleashed Brewing is all about the dogs. I mean, it’s in the name. They go out of their way to cater to dogs. The place has dog beer, dog beds, dog water, and they make dog treats out of spent grain.

Kettle River is also a dog-friendly place. The patio has its own patio, with lots of space and plenty of sun. For the humans, the food menu changes monthly. For the pooches, they offer blankets and dog treats.
