The recent bout of snow has it feeling more like December than November in the Okanagan, but that’s almost perfect as holiday markets start to pop up around the valley. Let’s dive into some of the best arts, culture, entertainment, and happenings going on in and around Kelowna this weekend!
Catch one of the greatest names in Canadian music take the stage, as Bryan Adams is set to rock Prospera Place. The tour comes on the tail of his March 2022 album release – his fifteenth – aptly titled, So Happy It Hurts. Tickets can be purchased online.

Yes, you read that right. Patrick Lundeen, Kelowna’s newest Artist in Residence, is giving away free gifts from his ‘HAPPY DAY FREE GIFT TRUCK’ on Saturday. He’s only going to be there for a few more so don’t miss out. You never know what fun gift he is handing out next! He’ll be located in the Rotary Commons.
The early bird gets the worm. And the early shopper beats the crowds and has FAR less stress as Dec. 25 approaches. A pair of top-notch holiday markets are set to go his weekend in Kelowna.
The first East Kelowna Christmas in the Country market will feature over 65 creative and talented artisans, crafters, and food vendors.

Cost: Admission is suggested at a $2 donation.
Craft Culture returns this weekend in downtown Kelowna, with the Holiday Magic Market. It’s billed as a one-stop shop for local, handmade gifts from over 60 vendors.
When: Nov. 12 from 10 to 5 p.m., Nov. 13 from 10 to 4 p.m.

Eurydice takes over the Mary Irwin Theatre for the next two weeks. Dying too young on her wedding day, Eurydice must journey to the underworld where she reunites with her father and struggles to remember her lost love. The play is a fresh look at a timeless love story. Runtime is about 80 minutes.

Where: City Park Cenotaph
What: At approximately 10:30 a.m. a parade will march from Stuart Park along Bernard Avenue to Abbott Street and to the Cenotaph in City Park for the ceremony. Following the ceremony, participating youth groups are invited to the Legion Branch, 1380 Bertram Street for lunch. A period of social remembrance will be held in the Parkinson Recreation Centre from 12 to 3:30 p.m. with music from the Old Time Fiddlers and Pipes and Drums.
Where: Lions Park Cenotaph
What: Residents are asked to arrive by 10:30 a.m. ahead of the Colour Party procession. Following the ceremony, the Army, Navy & Air Force Veterans Unit 376 will host a social at Rutland Centennial Hall.
Military Historian Keith will be using objects and images to unravel stories from the battlefield and the homefront. You will hear of the experience of Okanagan men and women who served. Where did they find identity, courage and hope when they put themselves in harm’s way?

Seeing a bright future in Kelowna, Analog Coffee opted to make this city the home to it's first B.C. café. It's been open for a few weeks, and the spot on Sunset Drive at the foot of ONE Water Street is already bustling.

Habitat for Humanity Okanagan’s Jingle Bell Build is back, giving people the opportunity to make the age-old tradition of building and decorating a gingerbread house that much merrier this holiday season.
