Step inside a winter wonderland at this local bar

Unbridled holiday spirit

After three years at Jack’s on Bernard, the Winter Wonder Bar has a new home at Pretty Not Bad (PNB).

They've transformed it into a spectacle of a classic Christmas feel for everyone to enjoy.

With tons of fun displays, and traditional Christmas decorations plastered all over the restaurant, it combines the concept of PNB with modernized and fun holiday elements with help from local designer Amanda Clark.

In addition, they brought back Chef James Holmes from Salt & Brick to do a pop-up holiday menu, and specialty cocktails from Jason Frederick, a.k.a, Dr. Cocktail.

“There’s a little bit of sports, a little bit of fun, and a little bit of Pretty Not Bad, " PNB owner James Addington told Kelowna10. "Santa in his fresh Nikes coming down the chimney backwards, the presents hanging from the ceiling, little photo wall on the back.

“But most of all, we just want it to be us,” he explained.

The Winter Wonder Bar runs until Boxing Day.
