Long pandemic-related delays have nearly gone by the wayside
Lax inventory has become commonplace at dealerships around the world as pandemic related shutdowns kneecapped manufacturers.
It’s meant anyone interested in purchasing a new vehicle could be waiting months to receive it, boosting pre-owned sales.
But at least one lot in the Okanagan is teeming with autos, and that comes thanks to a strong relationship with manufacturers.
“It was not an easy feat,” Okanagan Dodge General Manager Clayton Andres said. “We are one of their top sellers in the Okanagan, or in the Interior of B.C. in general, so they want to supply us with as much inventory as possible to keep that role going.”
And the flurry of new rides rolling onto his lot are far and wide, with a range of models to choose from.
Be it RAM 1500s, 2500, or 3500s, Grand Cherokees, Compasses, Gladiators, or the quintessential Okanagan vehicle, the Jeep Wrangler.
“It doesn’t matter what you are looking for, we have you covered,” he said.
And what once meant waiting weeks or months for a new car, truck, or SUV, has been reduced to a few hours.
