A special time of year for fresh produce
It's harvest time in the Okanagan and fall/winter is definitely all about those hard shelled or brassica family of veggies.
And here's the really good news: there's an abundance of them at our local farmers' markets and stalls.
Leslie, from OV1039 went to take a look and found out from Dom Coulombe, junior partner at Kelowna Fruit N Veggies, why this time of year is so special for fresh food.
