Helping animals, big and small!
The Rescue Ranch Society is a non-profit organization that provides a safe haven for animals in need.
From goats and chickens, to horses, and even a llama, they rescue and care for animals abandoned, injured, or need a home due to other circumstances.
The rescue ranch relies entirely on donations to cover expenses like feeding, bedding, vet expenses, medications and shelter.
To support the need further, they host the Dirty Mutter race, a 1.5-kilometer course where participants and their dogs navigate various obstacles.
It happens August 25.
This event serves as the main fundraiser for Rescue Ranch, with all proceeds going towards the animals.

Leslie Stein from OV 103.9 visited the ranch to learn about how the society came to be.
