A sunny day is better with a convertible
There is no better way to experience a sunny Okanagan day than in a sports car with the top down.
Just ask Andy Le, the owner and operator of Kelowna Dream Car Rentals, as his love for the region’s beauty inspired him to start his business.
“The Okanagan is so beautiful, I wanted to make a company that pays tribute to the beauty here,” he told RocketFan’s Regan Bartel. “So, we brought some nice sports cars out for anyone to enjoy.”
The business is Kelowna’s first and only electric and sports car rental company, with a small but mighty fleet: a 2022 Lexus LC 500, a 2023 C8 Corvette Z51, a Mazda MX-5 Convertible, and a Tesla Model 3.
The bespoke business model means Le can offer first-class concierge service during the entire trip.
“No one else is offering a tailored service like this,” he said, noting the limited fleet allows him to be at the ready whenever a renter needs help. “We are always a call away.”
Whether celebrating a special occasion or just craving an epic joyride, the business caters to visitors and locals alike, from wedding and birthday parties, curious tourists.
Raised in West Kelowna, and an accountant by trade, Le has always loved cars and wanted to combine his passions to open access to luxury vehicles for more people.
His rentals start as low as $199 a day for the Tesla and MX-5, to $599 for the Lexus and Corvette. A $2,500 security deposit is required.
