Why colour, colour, and more colour will be your friend this spring

Beach Radio's Toby cast her eyes at the spring makeup trends

Makeup artist Jenny McKinney says we are leaving the winter doldrums behind for a vibrant spring colour palette.

Trade in neutrals for your favourite bright shade of pink, purple, coral or aqua.

This is the time to go bold and don’t be shy about it. Jenny says the trend will be everywhere so finding a bright, shimmery palette will be easy.

Makeups trends tend to follow fashion, and after a couple of low-key seasons influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic, it makes sense that the pendulum is swinging in the complete opposite direction.

Jenny adds that injecting some colour into your makeup palette this spring is an easy, non-permanent way to brighten your mood the moods of everyone around you!
