We tried out some local brews at Kelowna Beer Fest

Kelowna welcomes return of local celebration

It was a showcase of locally and regionally produced brews.

Kelowna Beer Fest took over City Park on May 13 to crisp summer-like heat.

Four thousand tickets were sold to the event, a sell out for the debut day.

Over 30 breweries and ciders took part in the kick-off-to-summer party, alongside a selection of food trucks, games, and local music.

Sarah Nick, from 104.7 The LIZARD, swung by a few booths to take in the selection of local brews.

From a gluten-free IPA from Grey Fox Brewing, to a unique honey lavender pour at Unleashed Brewing, watch as Sarah sipped her way through the day.
