Lavender is hot right now, so take advantage
The Okanagan is known for lavender.
So why not introduce it into your cocktail repertoire this summer.
Shayne Labis, from Born to Shake, has a super simple but fun recipe for a shaken Lavender Drop martini that your guests will be talking about well after they've gone home.
For those who don't drink, the recipe makes a fun, floral mocktail. The alcohol can be replaced with water or an alt-gin.
The taste, paired with the soft pink hue of the drink, will not disappoint!
Rim your coupe or martini glass. Shayne suggests his lemon lavender sugar.
Pour all the ingredients into a shaker, add some ice, and shake vigorously.
Double strain the contents into your rimmed glass and enjoy!
