WATCH: New flavours but familiar face at this Kelowna restaurant

Eatery promises unique, elevated plates

Maestro’s is a brand new restaurant experience at Manteo Resort.

It’s the grand opening of the eatery this week and while everything from the décor to the menu is new there is at least one thing that hasn’t changed - the friendly face of Kathy Robinson, who’s been serving guests at Manteo for 22 years.

As Maestro’s embraces a bold, new foray into the world of Mediterranean cuisine, Kathy is the constant. She’s welcoming a second generation of families. Young adults who came as kids to eat burgers and fries at Wild Apple Grill can now enjoy a night out for themselves.

Kathy stayed through the Smack Dab years, and now brings fresh, seafood forward fare to the table at Maestro’s.

Kathy is excited about the new direction, and while she’s always happy to see her regulars, she welcomes all the new ‘foodies’ who are sure to flock to the terrace this summer.

It’s something completely different and, according to Kathy, is being very well received.

As Maestro’s takes Kelowna-area menus to a new level, Kathy is the grounding force that will keep you coming back for the warm, friendly service.

Maestro’s is open 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., Wednesday thru Sunday.
