Location offers more than just auto parts
Kelowna is a motoring and outdoor paradise and now there’s a very big outlet for enthusiasts.
As the city keeps growing, so does the need for vehicle parts, accessories, and many other associated items.
To keep up with the demand, local retailer and distributor, Lordco, has now settled into their new, larger location, the former home of Bed Bath and Beyond.
“The space is huge, we’ve got tons of inventory,” Matt Lodge, co-manager at Lordco Auto Parts told Kelowna10. “We’re confident that we’ve got something here for everybody.”
The new space is 30,000 square feet and is the company’s first large superstore in the Okanagan.
Previously, there were two locations in the city, Dilworth, and Highway 33. Both have closed since the new spot at 1540 Keehn Road is a more centralized location.
To help with the large store are 48 staff providing knowledge and services for shoppers.
“Wait times are going to be a lot lower for customers,” Lodge said. “We’re going to be able to give them that full customer experience they deserve.”
This space isn’t just for car enthusiasts. The generous layout allows them to carry a wide range of stock from yard equipment to power tools, and camping gear.
