  • Meet and greet at Dakoda’s Pub and Grill
  • Pros Clinic at West Kelowna Multi-Sport Centre

Young football fans will have the chance to play with some pros from the BC Lions in a couple of weeks.

A few players from the CFL team including Bo Lokombo, Sukh Chungh, David Knevel, and Ben Hladik, as well as quarterback Nathan Rourke, will be in Kelowna on April 14 and 15.

The first stop on their two-day visit to the city will be at Dakoda’s Pub and Grill where fans can join the players for a pint and chat about football. Those under 19 can still attend if accompanied by an adult.

The clinic will take place on April 15 in West Kelowna at the Multi-Sport Centre where kids aged six to 12 will be able to have some fun and work on non-contact football skills with the Lions players from 10 a.m. until noon.

Play with the Pros host hundreds of kids each year, matching them with players from the Lions. Participants are divided into groups and rotate through skill stations where they learn skills such as agility, passing, receiving, blocking, and tackling.
