Ever dream of your teeth falling out? Here’s what that might mean

Local dream analyst interprets what common dreams mean.

Caleb Matthews recalled having vivid dreams of adventures and historical figures at just six years old. They felt so real he thought he could touch them.

In one of his earliest, he sat on a couch surrounded by people at a party, looking through the kind of stained-glass window you may see in a cathedral. Beyond it was just darkness.

A woman wearing chainmail armour, who resembled Joan of Arc, came into sight. She walked over to him through the crowd, knelt down, and tapped him on the shoulders in a knighting ceremony.

Then he woke up.

“It was a really wacky, amazing dream,” he told Kelowna10. “It’s just vivid dreams like that, where it’s like, ‘what does this all mean and what are these images saying to me?’”

His fascination with dreams was fostered, in part, by his mom through home schooling. He took it a step further by enrolling at the Streams Academy in the U.S. There, he became trained in the Hebraic method of dream interpretation.

His honing of the craft has gifted Matthews the opportunity to address crowds all over the world.

In his free time, he works one-on-one with clients to help them decipher what their dreams might mean. He meets with people over phone, via email, in-person, and, during the pandemic, he conducted consults over Zoom.

His method of dream analysis starts by establishing a client’s faith or spiritual beliefs.

“I want to use language that’s comfortable for that dreamer,” he explained. “The spirituality element is important because something I could say could end the trust level right there and then there’s no connection.”

Sometimes, there are common dreams shared among people, despite having never met before.

One recurring dream for many people is that of teeth falling out. This is one Matthews has interpreted for his clients before.

“When old teeth fall out and new teeth come in, what is this a picture of? This is a picture of your old ways of understanding and wisdom falling off and making way for the new way of understanding,” he explained.

“So, you’re getting an upgrade in growth. This would be a self-conditioning dream on upgrading your understanding, your wisdom for your own personal life.”
