Watch as the aurora borealis washed over the Okanagan

The green lights were in full swing in the skies.

The Okanagan was treated to a gorgeous view of the aurora borealis Sunday night, as the lights washed over much of Canada.

The stunning spectacle stretched all the way down to the valley, a scene not often observed.

Local photographer Roman Bartos was among the many who got out and about to capture the lights.

He sent these photos to Kelowna10. Check out the video to see his work!
