Why this truck lover does the job he does
Chad Wolfe embodies the truck and SUV enthusiast the company is appealing to with their recently opened store in Kelowna.
“I love my truck because I can get up into the mountains, I can get out into nature, I can carry all my adventure stuff,” Wolfe, with Lordco Auto Parts says.
His toys include paddle boards and mountain bikes.
“I just get out and enjoy life,” he explains, noting his job takes him all over the interior of B.C.... in his truck of course.
Watching Wolfe walk around Lordco's Truck Centre, you get the sense he’d rather spend all day here, if he can’t be in the great outdoors.
“This is my happy place,” he says, arms folded, face beaming, as he surveys the multitude of accessories for truck and SUV owners.
Off-road adventurers can find everything from rooftop tents to winches, tradespeople can keep their tools safe and secure with retractable tonneau covers and toolboxes, while SUV owners can boost cargo capacity with various roof racks or safari baskets.
For Wolfe, having a place to see and touch things is important.
“People walk in and get to put their hands on things and get to see what they’re buying and how they can personalize their own vehicle,” he adds.
Wolfe is part of a big regional team that includes a staff of 48 employees just at the Kelowna store.
“I’ve been with Lordco for 20 years and what’s kept me here is the family environment, travelling around, I’m not locked into one store. It’s just a great job to do and have fun with.”
Kelowna is a truck town and only Lordco has The Truck Centre. Get into Lordco on Highway 97 near Highway 33. Lordco Auto Parts – driven to keep you moving.
