This Kelowna bar has a unique Irish experience

Do you feel lucky?

Kelowna’s Pretty Not Bad (PNB) has been transformed into an Irish-inspired haven to give guests the vibrant spirit of St. Patrick’s Day with a Charmed Bar.

With the help from local designers Hannah Schmidt, and Amanda Clark, it’s decorated with greenery, festive decorations, and vibrant colours.

There also is a special menu that plays along with the essence of the holiday with Irish-inspired cocktails of green and gold, and classic Irish dishes like a Shepherd’s Pie, all of which look to complement the celebratory experience.

“The thing I like the most about [these experiences], is we just get to be ourselves, which is fun and wacky, unique,” PNB owner James Addington told Kelowna10.

“Life’s too serious and when you do something like this, you get the opportunity to just have a little more fun.”

The pop-up bar also serves as an homage to someone they recently lost.

“[We’re] hoping to bring some luck to our Bring Jack Back campaign, who was our general manager,” Addington noted.

“He was sent back to Ireland about four months ago. And we wanted to have Jack back [with us],”

The Charmed Bar runs until March 17.
