This iconic Kelowna village is liquidating its pedal cars

It's a chance to say goodbye

The Kelowna Safety Council's 'Little Traveler's Safety Village' has been a mainstay in Kelowna for 43 years, known for its iconic tiny pedal cars.

Most Kelowna adults could fondly reminisce about their school trips to ride in the cars.

But starting this weekend, the safety council will be liquidating its stock and closing up for good.

Big Ginger, from 103.1 Beach Radio, went to take his kids for one more cruise around the little city, and speak with Executive Director John Grimes about the closure.

The iconic pedal cars, as well as road signs, office equipment, and more will be up for sale at the Kelowna Safety Councils location in Rutland.
