This boat is bringing sweet treats on Okanagan Lake!
This idea brings 'cool' to the lake
Have you ever been out on the water and wanted a cold treat but didn't have quick access to any?
Enter, The Purple Penguin Ice Cream Boat.
The vessel is operated by husband and wife duo Ryan and Reann Upsdell. They came up with the idea when on vacation after spotting an ice cream boat on the water.
" I figured, Kelowna needs an ice cream boat; the Okanagan needs it," Ryan said. "We're tourism focused [with] tons of people on vacation here from all over the world, and I figured there has to be enough business to have one ourselves."
Check out the video, as Big Ginger from 103.1 Beach Radio joined the pair on a mouth-watering trip out on the lake.
