The number two is all about connection
Are you into numbers? How do they make you feel? Did you sense all that extra energy on Tuesday … or should that be Twosday? And can this help you become more connected in these difficult times?
Feb. 22, 2022, sure was a special date.
That ‘220222’ wasn’t just a numerical palindrome (something that reads the same way forwards and backwards). It was also very significant in the world of numerology, and we should be taking full advantage of it, according to one local expert.
Oh, and if you happened to look at a 24-hour clock after 10 p.m. Tuesday night, then there would have been even more twos to shake your stick at: like 22:02:22 or, 20 minutes later, 22:22:22!
All those twos bring plenty of energy. And don’t worry if you missed out on the big day Tuesday; there’s an abundance of energy to go around for the rest of the month and year, given that it features many twos, according to Kelowna numerologist Meaghan Alton.
“There’s a window of time we’re working with,” Alton told Kelowna10. “Energy is not like a light switch going on and off. It’s like a bell curve where you come into it, you’ll be at a peak of energy, and then you’ll drift out of it.”
Alton explains numerology is the understanding of how to interpret energy through the language of numbers, and Tuesday was certainly big.
“Twos highlight the energy of connection. They highlight the energy of partnership, collaboration and surrounding yourself with people who inspire you,” Alton explained. “Two is a really powerful energy to recognize that we are not in isolation, we do not work in a vacuum.”
Alton added the number two is also an important energy of connection with our own intuition.
“We all have the ability to connect with energy that is potentially unseen,” she said, and the more we can feel and connect with this energy the more we discover a sense of meaning and purpose in our lives.
Alton said there’s still plenty of time to harness the energy the numbers bring, even if you missed out on Tuesday’s multiple-two extravaganza.
“The year, 2022, also contains three twos, so this energy is relevant all year,” Alton pointed out. “It’s not like the door is open and shut in one day, you have a window of opportunity here and you can tap into this.”
Alton notes feeling disconnected and isolated is very common, especially right now, not helped by the pandemic (two years now for those keeping track). But she says it’s up to us to use this numerical energy to shift the pendulum on our lack of positive energy.
“Start asking yourself, ‘where do I feel connected?’ The way it’s been sometimes, those connections are virtual and online but it doesn’t make them any less real. So many of my connections are virtual but we also find time to go for a walk or get a cup of coffee somewhere.”
So, whether the numbers align for you or not, give it a try. It just might work for you two - I mean too.
