The bob is back, and Toby goes for it.

Reviving a classic look with a contemporary feel

The bob cut has been a classic hairstyle for decades, but now it's experiencing a modern revival.

Toby from 103.1 Beach Radio went down to FORD Salon to give herself a new look.

Hairstylist Audrey Wittmann performed the task of giving Toby her new ‘90s Supermodel Bob,’ a more updated look and feel that sets it apart from looks of the past.

“Your normal bob is very round and mushroomy. No one's into that anymore,” Audrey explained. “This one is more about the texture and movement. You're keeping it a little bit longer, but you can go shorter if you like.”

This contemporary approach to the bob cut is perfect for transitioning into the fall season.

“A lot of people notice their hair from it being hot in the summer. You think about cutting it off. This is super on trend right now, getting rid of all those dead ends,” she said. “It’s still nice if you have a coat on like a collared jacket and it's all out of your face. It's a fall style.”
