Canada's true feelings unveiled
When people abroad think of Canada, they often picture police dressed as Mounties, perhaps people living in igloos, constant freezing cold weather, and extreme politeness.
While some of these elements are true, a new study by Preply, an online language platform, has listed which stereotypes Canadians are tired of hearing, and which they're okay with.
From the iconic ‘Eh' to our habit of saying 'sorry,' and our love for Tim Hortons, maple syrup, and hockey, Ara from 103.1 Beach Radio dissects the Canadian stereotypes that we're willing to embrace and the ones we'd rather pack in the snow.
