See who's coming to Rock the Lake in July

New dates for iconic outdoor festival

Kelowna’s huge rock festival has a new date and one of the largest rock line-ups ever.

Rock the Lake is now set to take place on July 12-14th, 2024 at the outdoor plaza at Prospera Place.

The organizers of the three-day fest said they had made a significant increase in the investment to bring internationally recognized rock stars to the Okanagan.

After narrowly avoiding the devastating wildfire season last August, and after other festivals in the region were forced to reschedule due to wildfires, the organizers have moved the festival earlier in the summer.

“We understand that many of our most loyal RTL fans have made plans around the previous dates, and we are reaching out to these affected customers directly,” explained Mike Strawn, VP & General Manager of Sports, Media and Entertainment for GSL Group.

"The choice to move the dates was not an easy one, however, we are fully invested in this community and event, and we feel we needed to make this change to set this festival and community up for success. "

Big name line-up

The first wave of artists in Rock the Lake’s 2024 lineup includes rock legends Tom Cochrane, Theory of a Deadman, Our Lady Peace and 54-40.

More band announcements will come, and the full lineup and schedule to be released at a later date.

Rock enthusiasts can get their Rock the Lake 3-day passes while quantities last at rtlkelowna.com. To stay up to date on new band announcements, ticket releases, and more festival announcements, follow Rock the Lake on Facebook, Instagram, or X.
