Second fire at Kelowna home in 7 days deemed suspicious

Police are investigating the pair of fires

The Kelowna RCMP will investigate after a suspicious fire broke out at a home Monday.

In a media release, the Kelowna Fire Department said it was called to the blaze on Leathead Road over the lunch hour.

A single story house was on fire for the second time in seven days.

The previous fire caused significant structural damage, making it "impossible for fire crews to enter."

Crews aggressively attacked the fire from outside.

More details are anticipated from the RCMP in the coming days.
