Just about putting a smile on faces
If you were in downtown Kelowna leading up to the holidays, you may have spotted the iconic man in a red suit being towed behind a boat, surfing on a wakeboard.
It was a last minute bit of fun dreamt up by local company First Tracks Contracting and business partners Austin Spencer and Scott Schlosser.
"We're just a real community focused company, and we really wanted to do something just to put a smile on everybody's faces," Spencer told Kelowna10. "I thought that would be a great thing to cheer up a whole bunch of people, and just show how great Kelowna is."
Spencer said the group of them at First Tracks are always doing things like this, but this is just the first time they were spotted.
As for when other antics might be spotted, who knows, as he said they do these things just in the spur of the moment and don't plan them all that much.
