Ryan remembers legendary Quincy Jones and this huge solo

The ace producer who worked with the best

He was arguably the most influential and prolific producer in modern music history.

The legendary Quincy Jones, who produced the all-time record-breaking Thriller album among various other projects with the "King of Pop", Michael Jackson, passed away recently, aged 91.

Jones worked with the very elite of the music world, from Frank Sinatra to Ray Charles, Chaka Khan and Celine Dion.

He embraced all genres and brought the best out of their studio sound.

One huge hit involved legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen who played what has become the iconic guitar solo on Michael Jackson's Beat It.
