Captain Kirk goes heavy metal
Ryan, from the morning show on 104.7 The LIZARD is celebrating another milestone for Canadian acting legend William Shatner.
Now aged nearly 95, the man behind character greats like Captain Kirk (Star Trek) and Denny Crane (Boston Legal), is heading into the recoding studio for a heavy metal album!
It will feature 35 of the genre's biggest names, including former Black Flag vocalist Henry Rollins and Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde.
It will have covers of songs by Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, and some original songs too.
