Rock the Lake: Sam Roberts recalls first Kelowna gig, record buy, and job

Any excuse to get back to Kelowna!

It's going to be a blockbuster Sunday, the third and final day of the Rock the Lake festival in Kelowna this coming weekend.

In between Crash Test Dummies and Sheepdogs on the open-air Prospera Place stage will be Sam Roberts, who shot to international stardom with hits in the 2000s like "Brother Down", Don't Walk Away Eileen", and "Where Have All the Good People Gone?"

Ryan from 104.7 The LIZARD caught up with Sam ahead of his umpteenth appearance in the Okanagan.

He found out about his first gig in Kelowna, and first vinyl record bought ten years before he would end up working at that same record store in Montreal.
