Restaurant known for innovative, local fare
A mainstay of Kelowna’s downtown food scene will close its doors at the end of 2023.
In a video message posted to social media, the co-owners of RauDZ Regional Table announced the closure after 22 years in operation.
“It’s bittersweet to be saying goodbye to this chapter,” Chef Rod Butters said in the video.
The pair did not give a definitive reason for closing down, with Audrey Surrao saying they plan to focus their attention on their other properties, Sunny’s Modern Diner and The Okanagan Table private event space.
“You can find Rod and I pretty well every day at The Okanagan Table doing what we love to do; creating memorable guest experiences,” Surrao added.
Both invited people to come down in the final weeks to celebrate the restaurant’s success, memories and relationships made over the years.
