The energy was undeniable as the 2022 – 2023 season kicked off with a home-opener for the Rockets as they battled the Portland Winterhawks.

For the first time since 2019, the regular season could start with no capacity limits or masks.

Kelowna came out in full force as brand new and seasoned jersey-wearing fans poured into the arena for puck drop.

Kelowna10 caught up with 104.7 The Lizard’s Sarah Nick to see how excited people were and what they predict for the upcoming season.
