Okanagan Gondola set for 2027 opening

Major tourism attraction

The Okanagan's next major tourism attraction is planned to come online next year.

The Okanagan Gondola, which will see a cable car lifted up over the valley and overlooking Kalamalka Lake, is set to be ready and operational in April of 2027.

That's according to Rupert Harper, GM of Okanagan Gondola, who says the project will allow residents and visitors to experience the panoramic views of the valley, and gain access to a series of trails to explore the natural beauty of the area.

Harper added the company will then work on building an adventure park with ziplines and more at the peak, which could open in 2028.
