"It's okay to be not okay"
Former NHL player Jordin Tootoo recently joined Ara, from 103.1 Beach Radio, to chat about the new film Tootoo: The Jordin Tootoo Story.
The documentary follows his rise to international stardom, his battles with loss and addiction, and his journey as a mental health advocate.
Tootoo was the first Inuk player to play in the NHL.
There's a Kelowna Red Carpet Premiere of Tootoo; An evening with Jordin Tootoo, benefitting the Ozanam Recovery House. That happens Saturday, Nov 1 at the Kelowna Community Theatre.
The award winning documentary screening will be followed with a Q&A with Jordin and film producer Adam Scorgie.
