Rock the Lake

More bands were just announced for Rock the Lake 2023. Here they are

From 70s anthemic rockers to 90s nu metal

Not sold on the biggest rock festival in Kelowna yet?

Well, the latest slate of bands to take the stage might be the push you need to snatch some tickets.

Joining some big names from Aug. 11 to 13 outside Prospera Place will be Finger Eleven, Big Wreck, and PRiSM.

Burlinton, Ont., rockers, Finger Eleven, surged into the mainstream with their album The Greyest of Blue Skies. The band is best known for their breakout funk-rock single, “Paralyzer” in 2007, and chart climber, “One Thing,” which had exposure on several TV shows, like Smallville, Scrubs and Law & Order: SVU.

As the 1990s came to a close, Canadian-American neo-prog hard rock outfit Big Wreck climbed the charts with their first single, "The Oaf," a post-grunge anthem that became their biggest radio hit. Songs like “Albatross”, “That Song”, and “Blown Wide Open” continue to garner radio play across Canada today.

The Canadian soft rock group PRiSM was formed in 1976 in Vancouver. They’ve made unforgettable anthems that are literally out of this world - with “Spaceship Superstar” chosen as the wake-up song for the Space Shuttle Discovery crew members.

Other chart toppers include the anthemic “Armageddon”, and softer but moving “Young and Restless.”

Already announced is Collective Soul, Burton Cummings with His Band, Bran Van 3000, and Everlast presents Whitey Ford's House of Pain.

This concert is brought your way by 104.7 The Lizard and 103.1 Beach Radio, so make sure to stay tuned for all things RTL!

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting the Rock The Lake website, www.selectyourtickets.com, or by calling 250-762-5050.
