Meet the local actor seen by millions worldwide

Huge 'vertical' movie trend

Local actor Jeff Krueger has only been doing the job for two years but he's loving every moment of it.

And by all accounts, there are hundreds of millions of people around the globe who like what they see of him.

Krueger told Ara, from 103.1 Beach Radio, how he's landed numerous roles -often as the bad guy - in various movies that are part of the massive global trend of vertical film and short stories.

Essentially, they're full motion picture productions shot vertically or portrait style, as opposed to the traditional landscape or horizontal perspective. They are then offered on apps for view on mobile devices in short one or two minute episodes.

Popular apps include ReelShort and DramaBox.

He says one of the movies he's been in has been seen over 120 million times.
