Local musicians ready fundraiser to aid wildfire charities

Troupe eager to help those in need

A group of musicians is coming together to showcase local talent and help those impacted by wildfires.

Fund the Fight will take place Thursday evening at Mission Hall, from 7 to 10 p.m. All the proceeds will go towards Mamas for Mamas.

“We just want to host a great event with live music and get people to come out for a good cause,” co-organizer Navaeh Dyson told Toby from 103.1 Beach Radio.

There will also be a silent auction, which Dyson said several local businesses have stepped up to help with.

Among the artists taking the stage are Bran Sanders, Dan Tait, Dyson, Dawson Gray, and NFA.

“It’s going to be a lot of fun. We are all hoping to jam together and just have an awesome evening,” Gray said. “All the musicians are really excited to come out.”

Tickets are $20. Evacuees can attend for free. Tickets can be purchased online here or at the door.
