KnowleDJ: Kelowna party rocker, to Vegas, and a published memoir

KnowleDJ calls himself a Life Enthusiast, Social Activist and Party Rocker Extraordinaire.

He's earned a global reputation for his bending sets and next-level energy.

His current gig is the after-parties for No Doubt in Las Vegas and he's recently worked with Morgan Wallen. Before that it was Ice Cube, Backstreet Boys and Ariana Grande.

Here's the cool bit: KnowleDJ, who was also known as DJ Will, learned his craft in Kelowna. He credits the tough lessons handed out by his mentor Grant at The Vibe nightclub more than 25 years ago.

And that's where his memoir The DJ Diaries all starts. It tells the story of how a kid with a pair of decks built a life on the world's biggest stages. The book is also filled with business lessons - his economics degree from UBCO in the early 2000s put him in good stead.
