All in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters
Kelowna Harley-Davidson will be welcoming some of the stars from the crime action hit TV series Sons of Anarchy (SOA).
It's all for the upcoming Celebrity Charity Ride in support of Big Brother Big Sisters of Central and Southern Interior of B.C.
Among the stars riding on Saturday, August 24, is Kim Coates, known for his role as Alexander “Tig” Trager on SOA.
The event features an hour-long ride, followed by a community BBQ hosted by Big Brother Big Sisters, and will also feature food trucks, kid-friendly activities, and a performance from Cam Whitcomb. All taking place at the Gasoline Harley-Davidson location on McCurdy Place.
In an interview on OV 103.9's Rock & Talk with Toby, Coates mentioned that the ride was initially scheduled for last year but had to be postponed due to the wildfires.
Other stars from the popular TV show that followed the lives of an outlaw motorcycle club will be present.
“We canceled right away out of out of respect for people who were trying to save their homes,” Coates said. “They're bringing me, Mark Boone Junior, and Theo Rossi, and it's all going for Big Brothers, Big Sisters. It's an honor for me to be part of it.”
Tickets start at $40 for general admission, $80 for those who want to participate in the ride.
