Kelowna's Nolan Ulm: From flag football to the CFL

Local sporting hero makes big time

From flag football in Kelowna at the age of five to a Toronto Argonaut in the CFL.

It's a dream come true for Nolan Ulm.

The 24-year-old, was recently drafted in the fourth round with the 30th overall pick by the Toronto Argonauts in the 2026 CFL Draft. The Argos used the first pick of the fourth round to take Ulm.

He played six seasons for the Eastern Washington Eagles, racking up 117 receptions for 1330 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Ulm is also well known for his charitable community outreach, hosting his annual Make It Happen football camps in Kelowna.
