Reflections of remembrance in Kelowna

A solemn occasion for all those in attendance

An excess of a thousand people gathered on a cold November morning at Kelowna's Cenotaph in City Park to recognize annual Remembrance Day services.

As the playing of The Last Post cut the through the air, a moment of silence was observed.

When it had all come to a close, wreathes and poppies were solemnly laid over the grounds of the memorial, honouring those who fought in the war to end all wars, and those who continue to serve.

We here at Kelowna10 worked to capture the sights and sounds of the ceremony.
