Huge crowd takes the plunge for local foundation
Hundreds of people took the frigid plunge into Okanagan Lake for the 10th annual Polar Bear Dip hosted by CRIS Adaptive.
This year's tame winter took some of the icy edge off for the brave swimmers, paddlers, waders, and quick in-and-outers who lined Tug Boat Beach on Jan. 1.
On this occasion, there was more blue sky than blue skin and many were elated to get back into the water for the annual dip.
