It's the Winter Wonderland event for JoeAnna's House!

It's the awesome home-away-from-home for out-of-town families who have loved ones needing care at Kelowna General Hospital.

Just a short walk away from KGH is JoeAnna's House, which has proven to be an invaluable help to so many.

And it aims to get bigger.

While it has accommodated 2,600 families in the last year, another 2,000 others had to be turned away because of a lack of space.

Hence the goal of raising $5 million to expand the accommodation with another 10 rooms.

Winter Wonderland, a key fundraising effort happens Sunday, Dec.15 inside MNP Place.

From 1 p.m. through 5 p.m. the public can come along and enjoy hot chocolate and cider, live performances, ice skating, cookie decorating, holiday market, fun activities, and of course, photos with Santa.
