It's been a half-century since this Zeppelin album dropped

It was the first one to have an actual name

It was March 28, 1973 - exactly 50 years ago - that Led Zeppelin released their fifth studio album.

Houses of the Holy was the first Zeppelin album to have a name.

"It's one of those records that you don't skip over a single song," Ryan, from 104.7 The LIZARD, said.

It became an instant classic, loved by all, except for at least one writer at Rolling Stone, who called it "one of the dullest and most confusing albums I have heard this year."

But 30 years later, that same magazine listed the album as one of the Top 150 of all time.

Watch as Ryan marks 50 years of Houses of the Holy by strumming along to one of the bands most iconic tracks.
