Is this the most luxurious new SUV in Kelowna?

If you pop the hood on the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG SUV there’s an embossed plaque on the engine cover signed by the master engineer who built it in Germany.

And, as Ethan Lannon, sales consultant at Kelowna Mercedes-Benz says, you could visit the Stuttgart plant and shakes hands with the very person who is responsible for the 577 horsepower that drives these 5,800 lbs of opulence.

“Just by looking at it you know it’s very, very special,” Lannon told Kelowna10. “Its origins come from the military, and it grew into this amazing, luxurious piece of machinery.”

The 22-inch rims, side exit exhausts, and doors that slam shut like a Fort Knox vault make an impression on the outside.

Meanwhile, on the inside, the super-comfy red leather… everywhere, cool instrumentation, adjustable lighting system, and massaging seats, give it the air of luxury that makes it appealing to the rich and famous.

“We’ve had young kids in store who know exactly what these vehicles are because they see them on TV,” Lannon explained. “Movie stars, actors, performers: anyone who knows what the G Wagon is wants one, and it always stands out.”

So does the price… for most people: $324,995.
