Is this $4K wedding dress the most amazing in Kelowna?

What makes it so special?

The latest trends would suggest it’s no longer exclusively about the traditional summer wedding.

Post-COVID, there seems to be an increasing amount of people embracing the idea of getting married over the winter months, and taking a different vision, according to Maria Graziano, co-owner of Bliss Bridal.

So, Toby, from 103.1 Beach Radio, took a look around the gorgeous family-owned store in the Pandosy Village in search of that perfect dress.

Natural sunlight streams through windows that run from floor to ceiling on two sides, complemented by interior illuminations that help show off the abundance of exquisite bridal, bridesmaid and prom gowns and the women who are to be clothed in them.

Toby spotted one in particular – a Martina Liana bridal creation from Australia - that tickled her fashion fancy and got Maria to tell her all about it.

“There are so many details, starting with all of the floral appliques,“ Maria, who has co-owned the store with her mom Sarafina and sister Christina for over 11 years, explained.

“[Liana] uses exquisite fabrics and she does couture designs that give brides the ability to do customizations. So, she starts with this gorgeous canvas and if you want something maybe slightly different – perhaps an adjusted neckline - you have the flexibility to do it.”

The dress Toby picked out has tulle, Chantilly lace, floral embellishments, 3D flowers, exposed boning, and a lot of sparkle detail throughout.

“It’s truly exquisite and the type of bride that really wants this dress is somebody who is looking for something really whimsical but loves detail, because it’s so special.”

The cost of this creation? Around $4,000.00
