How connection can lead to an improved sex life

Connection isn't always about sex but it can definitely lead to a better sex life.

We lead busy lives and so finding the time to connect with our significant other is more important than ever.

Connection isn't about sex but finding it with your partner can definitely lead to an improved sex life.

Sexologist, Devi Ward Erickson tells Toby from 103.1 Beach Radio it starts with eye contact.

"Making and holding eye contact with your partner signals to your brain that you are safe. Next, breathing together unifies your heart rates bringing deeper connection, " she explains.

Ward Erickson suggests a tantric pose called 'The Yab Yum'. (Check out the video)

She encourages couples to try eye contact and breath harmonization before having a serious discussion, to feel connected after time apart or after a disagreement.

It's a beautiful tool to help build a strong relationship.
