Here's why LED headlights are worth it

We've all been there.

A box of halogen bulbs in one hand; LEDs in the other.

You see the price tag is a bit higher for the LEDs and wonder, ‘is it worth it?’

LED – light-emitting diode – headlights are outshining the traditional halogen bulb in many ways.

They are brighter, clearer, often cast a wider pattern to improve visibility, and don’t blind an oncoming driver with glare.

LEDs operate about 90 per cent more efficiently than incandescent bulbs. And because they generate less heat, they last much longer than other lights. They also don't tend to burn out, rather dimming over time.

Besides being a fantastic alternative to the traditional light bulb, they are extremely easy to install.
