Here's what you need to know as Lime scooters zoom back for spring

Park your scooters!

Lime's e-scooters and e-bikes have returned to Kelowna, offering locals and tourists a convenient transportation option for getting around.

In 2023, Lime had 78,000 riders going on over 555,000 journeys via e-bikes or e-scooters.

That's a 190 per cent increase in rides and 67 per cent rise in riders compared to the previous year.

There will be new rules for riders this year, which include mandatory parking zones in downtown Kelowna.

These designated areas will help maintaining cleanliness and organization on the streets.

Designated parking spots will be posted on the Lime app for riders to correctly park their vehicles.

Also, dedicated staff will be on duty in the early mornings for maintenance and rebalancing, what Lime has called another initiative to improve street tidiness and reduce clutter as Kelowna residents begin their day.
