Here's the huge new score clock for Prospera Place

Massive digital upgrade

It hasn't been switched on yet, but under the wrapping is a new, giant state-of-the-art scoreboard waiting to burst into life for this upcoming Kelowna Rockets Memorial Cup season!

The major upgrade at Prospera Place will feature over 2,100 square feet of digital display space, the equivalent of 200 sixty-inch TVs.

Packed with 5.5 million LEDs and weighing around 25,000 pounds, it’s the largest and newest scoreboard in the Canadian Hockey League.

The screen is set to light up for the first time later this summer as part of a $5.1 million modernization project tied to Kelowna’s successful bid to host the 2026 Memorial Cup.

Funded by the City, the Rockets, and the CHL bid committee, the improvements also include enhanced sound, faster Wi‑Fi, new concession-area screens, and electric ice resurfacers.
