Heat wave: See how dangerous it gets inside a vehicle!

An annual reminder to parents and pet owners

As the heatwave makes its way through the Okanagan and with hot temperatures here to stay for the summer, it's no secret the inside of a vehicle can get really hot, really fast.

In a confined space, a car's internal temperature can skyrocket quickly and climb past 50 C and get even hotter as the day goes on.

But how bad is it for children and infants if left behind in a car?
